In my closest experience of death ,when heavy drugs and narcotics were in my blood in a nightmarish psychotic attack, I saw all the decisions I made, every act as a term of choice without stopping for a second. Repeat and repeat endlessly, all actions in the physique of a choice. All these choices were opening a door, one of two doors. Without a moment's pause, I opened one door and then another. all the acts as opening one of the two doors, and these doors were Endless.
This experience became the foundation for an architectural project I titled The Gate. Translating this abstract and deeply personal encounter into a spatial form, I sought to explore the interplay between the human mind, the act of a decision, and the endless confrontation with duality
These drawings were developed during an atelier organized by the Contemporary Architecture Association of Iran (CAAI) in autumn 2022, under the title Space, Shape, Architecture. The work was later exhibited as part of a collection of printed architectural drawings created within this atelier in Tehran.
